1. Keyword Surge
This is where most of us conduct our keyword research. What you need to do is to enter the root keyword of your niche. Choose the search engine that you wish to get your results from and finally the number of results from the slider bar. For this Keyword Elite review, I have chosen Keyword Elite Search Engine for 100 results. The maximum keywords you can mine are 10,000!
Therefore if you were to check Keyword Elite Search Engine and Google Suggestion Tool, you will have the possibilities to mine a maximum of 20,000 keywords provided there are no duplicates. Bear in mind that the more keywords you wish to mine, the longer Keyword Elite will takes to display the result.
In this Keyword Surge module, there is a little “funnel” sign in each column to help you filter results to suit your criteria. What I normally do is to filter the number of searches in a month. I will remove searches of less than a 1000 and more than 30,000. In this way, I am focusing my energy to rank well for keywords with decent searches and yet achievable.
Once you chosen the keywords with the number of searches in a month, it is time to gauge the competition of the keywords you have chosen.
First click on the “Select All” button and all the keywords will be shaded or highlighted. Next, Right Click inside the keywords and the other modules will be shown. For this module of Keyword Elite review, choose the first option, “Send Keyword(s) to Market Research Sleuth. I have already selected it and that is why you are seeing the “Unselect All” button in this screen capture.
2. Market Research Sleuth
In this module of Keyword Elite Review, I would like to determine the competition for the keywords I have chosen. The widely accepted gauge to competition is to determine the number of web pages being optimized for the keyword in their title of the web page. This is basic SEO and I will not discuss further in my Keyword Elite Review.
From the next screen, I can easily see the competition which is in the results column (Allintitle). Next, click on the R/S Ratio button which is results divided by searches to sort the data from small to bigger numbers. To conquer our competition, I have to start with keywords with the least result (Allintitle). Therefore R/S Ratio which is small will have the least competition. This is the basics of keyword research and I hope you will be enlightened.
3. Search Engine Dominator
Search Engine Dominator is the tool to help you optimize your web page to rank well for the chosen keyword. There are many factors to rank well and for me, I chose to believe in 3 factors. They are keyword density, number of backlinks and PageRank(PR). In this module, everything is clearly presented and you can decide if you wish to optimize a web page for the keyword.
In the above example, I have used 2 totally unrelated keywords to present my Keyword Elite Review as to why it is my choice for a Keyword Research tool. The 1st keyword is plastic surgery and from the number of competing pages of 45,800,000 would have frightened me away! Next, the competition strength of 85 in the next column will confirm my fear that this keyword not easy to target. In Keyword Elite, competition strength of 0-45 is relatively easy, 46-65 is slightly difficult and anything above will be a challenge.
Finally in the lower window of keyword Elite, the average of PR, backlinks and Keyword density can be easily seen. Therefore to rank well for this “plastic surgery”, you must be prepared to build higher PR and backlinks! 20,832 backlinks is too much for me and I will not waste any time considering at all.
4. Adwords Time Machine
If you are interested in PPC, this is the module you must not miss. PPC is a test and monitor strategy for many Internet Marketers. When you first enter a niche, there will be tons of keywords to bid on before you can find a profitable keyword. Therefore using Adword Time Machine, enter your keyword and you will be able to see who are people that are bidding on the keyword.
In the above screen shot, the keyword used was cheap skate shoe. First we need to find an advertiser who is willing to bid on the keyword month after month. This is the 1st indication that it must be a profitable keyword. if not, the advertiser who be so dump to do that. Next, you can see their advertisement and you can copy it for your own campaign. Finally when you see a star in Adwords Time Machine, this is to tell you that the advertiser is still experimenting their ads. Therefore you should not copy such ads. Let others do the testing for you!
5. Advance Google Site Targeter
There are many websites being created just to make money from Adsense. Incase you new into Internet Marketing, what these webmaster does is to build a lot of web pages and paste Adsense code on these pages. For more information, read my Make Money From Google Adsense.
Therefore if you are a Adword advertiser, you do not want your ads to appear on site that is not targeted to your niche. What I have done before I purchase Keyword Elite, I had to manually search the web and take down the URL of the websites that are targeted to my niche and used it in my adwords campaign. This is time consuming process.
With Google Site Targeter, I will be able to see what are the websites that are ranking well for my targeted keyword and they are offering adsense placement.
6. JV Diamond Miner
Making money online is about leveraging your effort and time. Once you have a product to sell, you will need a lot of people to push your product.
